About the role

  • Support the planning, configuration, and rollout of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central across departments
  • Act as a liaison between internal teams, IT, and external consultants to ensure alignment of system functionality with business requirements
  • Assist with data migration efforts, including extraction, cleansing, validation, and import into Business Central
  • Oversee system integration with existing applications and workflows
  • Monitor implementation progress, track milestones, and escalate risks or roadblocks to ensure a successful deployment
  • Develop training materials, process documentation, and user guides tailored to different teams
  • Conduct training sessions (both virtual and in-person) to ensure employees can navigate and effectively use Business Central
  • Serve as the first point of contact for end-user questions, troubleshooting issues, and coordinating resolutions with IT or vendors
  • Provide real-time support during go-live and post-implementation stabilization
  • Gather user feedback to identify system challenges and recommend improvements for better adoption
  • Analyze and document existing workflows, identifying inefficiencies that can be improved with Business Central
  • Collaborate with department leads to implement standardized best practices within the new system
  • Support change management efforts by communicating system benefits, addressing user concerns, and fostering adoption
  • Develop and maintain process documentation for future reference and ongoing system optimization
  • Assist in the development and execution of system testing, including User Acceptance Testing (UAT), to validate that Business Central meets business requirements
  • Work with department leads to conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure that Business Central meets operational needs
  • Identify, document, and track system issues, coordinating with IT and vendors for resolution
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, reporting requirements, and data integrity standards
  • Support go-live activities, monitor system performance, and assist in post-implementation stabilization efforts

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of previous experience in a similar role
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Finance, or a related field
  • Strong understanding of business processes in finance, supply chain, HR, and/or inventory management
  • Experience working with ERP systems, databases, and reporting tools
  • Basic knowledge of SQL, Power BI, or other reporting tools is a plus
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Office 365 applications
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Legally eligible to work for a Canadian company (e.g., be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident of Canada, or possess a valid work permit)
  • Provide a clear Criminal Background Check
