About the role

  • Own our global employee experience calendar and manage our company Slack channels and Internal Communications mailbox.
  • Create and edit engaging content – written, visual and video – for a variety of internal comms channels including Slack and our digital screens
  • Manage the logistics for key internal comms events including All Hands and Leader Ask Me Anything sessions, and support the event management for companywide get togethers like our annual FestiveFest
  • Support the administration of our employee engagement survey, including set-up and reporting.
  • Partner with our employee networks on communications and initiatives that help foster a positive and inclusive work culture.
  • Support in the design and delivery of programmes and initiatives to improve employee engagement and help make us an even better place to work.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years’ experience in internal communications or events, ideally in a fast moving, international business with a culturally diverse and dispersed team.
  • A passion for employee experience – you care about fostering a positive environment for everyone, and are keen to come up with new ideas to improve the Trainliner experience using feedback from our teams and communities.
  • Creative communication skills – e.g., experience with Canva or similar software to create graphics and videos; good writing skills and the ability to work with ChatGPT to generate high quality internal comms content
  • Experience in managing events – you’re organised and have strong project management, planning and time management skills.
  • Interpersonal skills – you’re open, approachable and able to build effective relationships and work collaboratively with colleagues across various teams and levels.
  • A proactive mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and keep calm under pressure.
