Responsibilities
Serve as a trusted partner and advisor to employees and all levels of management
Provide guidance on a wide range of employee relations matters in alignment with Medtronic’s practices, policies, and local labor legislation
Lead proactive workplace initiatives and strategies
Conduct workplace investigations and internal reviews
Manage performance improvement and discipline processes
Handle end-of-employment situations and restructuring
Manage labor relations, crisis management, coaching, and conflict resolution
Develop and execute employee and labor relations strategies to foster a positive work environment
Build and maintain strategic relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
Regularly communicate and brief senior and executive leadership on operations and initiatives
Requirements
Requires a Bachelor's degree
10+ years of Employee Relations experience (or advanced degree with 8+ years)
7+ years of managerial experience
Experience developing and implementing both proactive and reactive Labor Relations strategies in US
Experience managing a team spanned across multiple manufacturing sites with high volume of work
Experience leveraging data and analytics to inform business decisions and proactive initiatives
Demonstrated strategic agility and execution
