About the role
- Evidence Generation Director at Novartis overseeing scientific strategy for innovative studies affecting global healthcare. Collaborating across functions to drive evidence planning and methodologies.
Responsibilities
- Lead scientific oversight of Phase IIIb/IV trials and complex non-interventional studies across global medical affairs.
- Develop study concepts, protocols, and reports; guide analysis, interpretation, and publication of results.
- Drive integrated evidence planning to support product strategy and demonstrate medicine value.
- Engage with global stakeholders including KOLs, advisory boards, and patient advocacy groups.
- Represent Novartis in steering committees and external research collaborations.
- Champion innovative methodologies and technologies to advance evidence generation practices.
- Contribute to enterprise-wide initiatives including process improvements, training, and SOP development.
Requirements
- Advanced degree in life sciences or healthcare; MBA or equivalent preferred.
- Solid experience in pharma, academic research, or healthcare with evidence generation focus.
- Expertise in interventional and non-interventional trial design and real-world evidence methodologies.
- Strong understanding of global regulatory and access environments and drug development processes.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and deliver impactful evidence strategies.
- Excellent communication skills with ability to translate complex concepts for diverse audiences.
