About the role
- Digital Solutions Engineer responsible for engaging with mid-market customers across APAC. Delivering product demos, conducting discovery sessions, and developing technical alignment in a hybrid model.
Responsibilities
- Lead technical discovery to understand customer requirements and challenges.
- Own technical validation activities such as proof-of-concepts, RFP/RFI and solution design.
- Translate complex technical capabilities into clear outcome-driven solutions.
- Develop and maintain reusable demo assets, scripts, and reference solution design to scale team effectiveness.
- Stay current on Cloudflare products, Internet technologies, and competitive landscape.
Requirements
- 3+ years in a technical presales, solutions engineering, consulting, or related role.
- Strong knowledge of Internet fundamentals (HTTP/S, DNS, TLS, networking concepts, APIs).
- Experience with Zero Trust frameworks, SASE architectures, or cloud security platforms.
- Hands-on experience with scripting or development (Python, JavaScript, Go, Bash) and comfortable with APIs/CLIs.
- Proven ability to engage directly with customers; running demos, whiteboarding solutions, and handling objections.
- Excellent communication skills; able to explain complex concepts clearly and confidently.
- Comfortable working across multiple markets and time zones in the APAC region.
