About the role
- Systems Integration Engineer securing and enhancing unmanned systems for Navy and Marine Corps operations. Collaborating with teams to implement advanced cybersecurity measures and conduct risk assessments.
Responsibilities
- Develop relationships quickly and easily with other teams, communicating the complexities of security with a wide variety of audiences
- Implement infrastructure and cybersecurity controls, including enhanced detection and vulnerability capabilities and improved event correlation in large enterprises
- Perform risk and vulnerability assessments in network, system, and application areas
- Leverage big data analytics and traditional security event types to identify advanced threats or indicators of compromise
Requirements
- Experience integrating open-architecture solutions on unmanned systems or aircraft platforms
- Knowledge of DoD Zero Trust and segmentation or isolation architectures
- Ability to influence architecture design by interfacing with Program Managers, Chief Engineers, and Platform Leads
- Secret clearance
- Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Cybersecurity, or Computer Science
- CompTIA Security+ Certification
- Experience with weapons, UAS, or Mission payload integration, including ATAK, TAK, or BLOS architectures (nice to have)
- Knowledge of cross-domain solutions and high assurance architectures (nice to have)
- Ability to integrate with digital engineering and represent security requirements at design reviews (nice to have)
- Top Secret clearance (nice to have)
- Master's degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Cybersecurity, Computer Science or a related field (nice to have)
- CISSP, CEH, CISSP-ISSEP, or CASP+ Certification (nice to have)
