About the role
- Data Analyst utilizing data and statistical methods to enhance business performance and drive decisions. Collaboration with stakeholders and development of reporting solutions in a hybrid work environment.
Responsibilities
- Conduct accurate and timely business analysis and reporting to support and drive business decisions using statistical modeling and other business analysis tools
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to define key financial and operational metrics to continuously monitor, track, and report performance
- Collaborate with business partners in the development and delivery of key performance analysis and reporting
- Build and maintain models used to project business results; enhance the model where there is business value in adjusting the models
- Ensure analysis and reporting accuracy and integrity and explains performance drivers and provides insights into performance trends
- Analyze and address data quality issues, test and analyze impact of system changes to data/reporting infrastructure
- Develop, test, and deploy automated reporting solutions and automated decision analytics to replace manual business processes
- May be requested to complete other assignments or participate in projects based upon skills, achievements, or experience
Requirements
- Big Querry/SQL script writing experience required
- Insurance product and domain knowledge
- Solid knowledge and understanding of forecasting techniques or statistical analysis
- Demonstrated strong experience utilizing data tools such as R and Python to build complex formulas and create reports
- Data visualization experience with BI tools such as Tableau
- Knowledge of a variety of standard reporting software packages and best practices for report deployment processes
- Demonstrated experience developing data sets
- Demonstrated experience providing customer-driven solutions, support or service
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 10%
