About the role

  • Senior Analytics Manager leveraging Boots’ Advantage Card data to deliver actionable insights. Leading a team in advanced analytics to drive growth for Boots and its brand partners.

Responsibilities

  • Leading, managing and developing a team of Data Scientists—setting priorities and raising the bar on delivery quality
  • Driving new applications of Boots’ Advantage Card first-party data through advanced measurement solutions (e.g. predictive analytics, causal modelling, optimisation)
  • Owning and communicating roadmaps, learning agendas, and innovation plans with senior stakeholders at Boots and BMG—showing how advanced analytics unlocks growth and competitive advantage
  • Overseeing advanced analytics and insight delivery across projects such as campaign effectiveness, omnichannel measurement, and customer-level analysis
  • Acting as a senior analytics partner to clients, leading conversations on objectives, measurement challenges, and insight opportunities
  • Identifying and building deeper metrics and measurement solutions for existing and emerging channels to create strategic client value

Requirements

  • Strong experience in marketing effectiveness and advanced analytics (e.g. forecasting, regression, segmentation, machine learning)
  • Confidence working with customer-level, first-party data at scale
  • The ability to translate complex analysis into clear, compelling stories for non-technical audiences and build trusted-advisor relationships with senior stakeholders
  • A forward-thinking, curious mindset with a drive to innovate and improve measurement approaches
  • Excellent organisation skills, able to juggle multiple complex projects and stakeholder groups
  • Proven people leadership, motivating, developing, and growing high-performing data science teams
  • Understanding of data pipelines/data warehouse environments to partner effectively with data engineering/platform teams
  • Familiarity with digital measurement tools (e.g. Google Analytics, Criteo)
