About the role

  • Provide outstanding customer service by responding to inbound calls
  • Handle a high volume of phone calls from customers
  • Perform pre-underwriting screening
  • Verify coverage, evaluate submitted bills, and authorize payments
  • Advise customers of billing policies and procedures and process policy changes
  • Resolve customer inquiries and maintain customer relations
  • Complete administrative tasks and input customer information into databases for documentation

Requirements

  • High School Diploma
  • Good human relations skills to deal effectively with customer issues in a professional manner
  • Knowledge of how to use a computer, keyboard skills, and familiarity with software applications such as Excel and Word
  • Ability to meet or exceed attendance requirements
  • Basic critical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving skills
  • Previous Call Center experience is preferred
  • Bilingual (English-Spanish) a plus
