About the role

• Configuration/Deployment Manager managing software systems and CI/CD processes for a major client in Brussels. Overseeing release management and supporting development teams in cloud migration.

Responsibilities

• Configure and manage software systems;
• Set up and maintain build and continuous integration processes;
• Establish and update procedures for the deployment of information systems;
• Administer and oversee development infrastructure, including application servers;
• Support and guide development teams in migrating applications to the cloud;
• Design, manage, and optimize automated CI/CD pipelines;
• Oversee release management, including ticket tracking and control processes;
• Analyze and monitor information system performance to ensure reliability and efficiency;
• Collaborate with business analysts, customers, users, project leaders, and developers to deliver high-quality solutions.

Requirements

• University degree in IT or relevant discipline, combined with minimum 17 years of relevant working experience in IT;
• At least 3 years of experience in CI/CD;
• At least 2 years of experience in Release Management;
• Excellent knowledge of software deployment management;
• Excellent knowledge of building and deployment tools (e.g. Maven);
• Good knowledge of ticketing system (e.g. Jira);
• Good knowledge of CI/CD automation tools (e.g. Bamboo, GitLab);
• Good knowledge of cloud deployment;
• Knowledge of application servers (e.g. Tomcat);
• Knowledge of RDBMS;
• Excellent command of the English language.
