About the role
- Senior Resident Manager overseeing day-to-day property management at BRIDGE Housing's Jordan Downs. Responsible for resident relations, compliance, and staff management.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the day-to-day management of the property including overseeing physical maintenance and upkeep
- Effectuating administrative and clerical tasks
- Maintaining positive resident relations
- Adhering to all applicable rules and regulations
- Analyzing the respective property and highlighting its best attributes to effectively manage it
- Interviewing potential residents to determine whether they meet applicable regulations
- Collecting rent and serving late notices as needed and/or delegate the same
- Ensuring compliance with proper procedures and regulations for applicant certification
- Overseeing maintenance of property management software systems
- Reviewing, analyzing, and preparing weekly and monthly compliance reports
- Supervising maintenance and office staff
- Providing excellent customer service to residents and vendors
Requirements
- HUD, HOME, State affordable housing programs and tax credit experience
- Knowledge of property maintenance and physical maintenance/upkeep requirements
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for residents and to manage staff
- Strong computer skills including MS Word, Outlook, and Excel; Yardi a plus
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail and follow through including ability to manage staff
- Able to work independently, prioritize, meet multiple deadlines, and supervise team members
- Valid driver’s license and required insurance
