About the role

  • Lead the company's compensation strategy, ensuring market competitiveness, internal equity, and legal compliance.
  • Develop and implement fixed, variable, and long-term compensation policies aligned with the company's strategy.
  • Revise compensation plans including monetary and non-monetary benefits based on employee needs and engagement data.
  • Ensure compliance with labor, social security, and human rights legislation.
  • Conduct climate and employee satisfaction surveys, using quantitative data to inform strategic decisions.
  • Monitor salary benchmarks and market trends to maintain a competitive value proposition.
  • Evaluate and report on the effectiveness of compensation and benefits programs, proposing continuous improvements.
  • Serve as the focal point for internal and external audits, including SOX, and lead compliance initiatives.
  • Manage benefits providers and vendors, negotiating contracts with a focus on ROI and perceived value.
  • Lead the transformation of compensation modeling, proposing more agile alternatives tailored to the Localiza&Co context.
  • Drive workforce planning and personnel budget forecasting, integrating predictive analytics and data intelligence.

Requirements

  • Analytical and strategic mindset, with strong command of indicators such as personnel cost, pay positioning within ranges, and budget vs. actual.
  • Experience with complex compensation models, including variable sales structures, ILP, ICP, and expatriate management.
  • Familiarity with reference filings and compensation disclosure chapters for publicly listed companies.
  • Ability to lead cultural and structural change, with critical thinking and a focus on innovation.
  • Experience with job evaluation and compensation methodologies/tools (e.g., Hay, Mercer, Towers Watson).
  • Strong communication skills and ability to influence internal and external stakeholders.
  • Experience in large companies or multinationals.
  • Advantage: knowledge of HR management systems (Workday, SAP HR).
