About the role
- Supporting the 3rd Party Manufacturing (3PM) team within Global Procurement
- Creating, supporting and implementing category strategies
- Leading negotiations and managing complex supplier relationships
- Providing spend analysis, opportunity analysis, supplier/market analysis, and preparation of business cases
- Researching procurement category related data to identify trends and performance
- Leveraging data-driven insights for cost modeling and decision-making
- Identifying commercial opportunities/improvements within existing partnerships
- Supporting weekly/monthly Category reporting and Procurement Ops reviews
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in business, or a related field, preferably from an accredited institution
- Professional experience in a similar analytical role supporting Procurement/Finance/Commercial/Supply Chain teams in a private, public, government or military environment.
- Fluent English language skills both written and verbal
- Strong financial acumen, mathematical and statistical knowledge with an ability to interpret complex data.
- Strong IT skills, including Advanced Microsoft Excel Skills, SAP, PowerBi, PowerPoint etc.
- Knowledge and experience leveraging AI tools to support data analytics.
- Initiative, self-starter with a positive & pro-active approach
- Strong communication skills including ability to create clear data visualizations.
