About the role

  • Perform billing-related tasks for complex matters of the assigned lawyers: invoicing, distribution of pro formas, proofreading, changes to time entries, write-offs and transfers
  • Produce reports and tables tailored to the expressed needs of professionals and clients
  • Provide client service to internal and external clients for assigned accounts and respond to various requests in the allotted time
  • Make sure budgets and comprehensive billing agreements are adhered to
  • Manage all aspects of the E-billing process
  • Assist with month-end process
  • Manage requests sent to a common email box
  • Liaise with the client billing specialists
  • Perform any other related duties

Requirements

  • Diploma of College Studies in an appropriate area
  • Minimum of three (3) years’ work experience in a similar position
  • Previous experience in law firm or professional service firm is an asset
  • Solid knowledge of SAP, Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Detail-oriented with good problem solving skills
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to effectively multi-task
  • Willing to take initiative and to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexibility in order to accommodate work demands
  • Bilingualism (French / English) is an asset
