About the role

  • Business Administrator supporting Retail Banking at FCA by delivering high-quality administrative support and managing stakeholder relationships. Coordinating meetings and ensuring compliance in an efficient operational environment.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for preparing agendas, coordinating briefings, attending and managing meeting documents and actions.
  • Delivering high-quality support to Managers across two teams within Retail Banking.
  • Maintaining and updating records in the FCA system to ensure regulatory compliance and data accuracy.
  • Contribute to two high-profile and fast-paced teams within the FCA’s operations.
  • Provide comprehensive support for the organisation and delivery of internal and external meetings and events.
  • Prepare documents and provide guidance to colleagues, offering flexible support across the team.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a role which has required strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven experience working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven experience in delivering high-quality administrative support.
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Ability to handle staff confidential and sensitive data with utmost discretion.
  • Prior experience in a role that involves a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Capable of professionally engaging with senior internal and external stakeholders on both general and confidential matters.
  • Ability to build good working relationships & networks across the division.
  • Demonstrate ability to collaborate effectively within a team while maintaining the flexibility to work independently.
