About the role

  • Senior Application Administrator for the Investments team responsible for application support and monitoring, ensuring operational quality and service continuity in hybrid working conditions.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure high availability and stability of area-owned applications
  • Investigate and resolve incidents and service requests within defined SLOs
  • Support incident post-mortems, root cause analysis, and preventive action implementation
  • Document troubleshooting steps, known issues, and recovery procedures
  • Monitor applications health, logs and interfaces to detect and prevent service disruptions proactively
  • Perform configuration tasks, application deployments, and scheduled maintenance for applications in Linux and Windows environments
  • Participate in testing and rollouts for patches, upgrades, and new feature releases
  • Focus on automating operational tasks and improving deployment
  • Collaborate closely with the Service Desk, DevOps, infrastructure, cybersecurity, engineering teams, vendors and Product Owners
  • Ensure adherence to compliance, data privacy, and security standards required in the banking sector
  • Manage observability toolset — dashboards, alerts, and runbooks using the Grafana stack
  • Maintain and build GitLab CI/CD pipelines and support GitOps workflows
  • Manage and improve infrastructure using Terraform and Terragrunt
  • Write automation scripts in Bash and Python to remove recurring manual tasks
  • Manage workloads on Kubernetes (k8s) and contribute to cluster reliability

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience in IT application support or software engineering, preferably in the financial services sector
  • Familiarity with ITIL processes, especially incident, problem, and change management
  • Strong analytical skills, service mindset, and ability to work in high-pressure environments
  • Experience supporting applications in production environments
  • Availability for on-call rotations, maintenance and incident support outside business hours
  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Grafana, ELK)
  • Solid understanding of GitLab pipelines and GitOps principles
  • Practical AWS knowledge — compute, networking, storage, IAM
  • Comfortable operating on Linux and Windows systems
  • Strong scripting skills (e.g., Bash, PowerShell, Python)
  • Working knowledge of databases (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server)
  • Hands-on experience with Terraform and Terragrunt for infrastructure-as-code
  • Kubernetes knowledge — deploying, troubleshooting, and maintaining workloads
  • Fluent English is required in spoken and written communication.
