About the role
- Senior Manager position in tax consulting and auditing firm focusing on HGB and IFRS compliance. Involves managing client relations and providing expert consultation services.
Responsibilities
- Audit of annual financial statements of industrial, trading and service companies under HGB and IFRS, applying a risk-oriented audit approach
- Conducting special audits (internal control systems, compliance management)
- Audit-related advisory services
- Preparation of annual financial statements and tax returns
- Company valuations
- Ongoing tax advice to clients of all legal forms and preparation of technical opinions
- Participation in advisory projects (including due diligence, intragroup restructurings, company valuations/value indications)
Requirements
- Successfully passed the Wirtschaftsprüfer exam or the combined Wirtschaftsprüfer and Steuerberater exams
- Several years of professional experience in tax advisory and in auditing annual and consolidated financial statements under HGB, ideally complemented by knowledge of IFRS
- Knowledge of DATEV (including AP Comfort) and experience in data analysis would be an advantage
