- Associate Project Manager overseeing construction projects at Brixmor. Managing redevelopment and tenant improvements while ensuring timely deliveries within budget and strong collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Assist in managing construction projects, including redevelopment, tenant improvements, and new builds, covering:
- Project planning and estimating
- Lease exhibit preparation and abstracting
- Plan and entitlement reviews including zoning research
- Consultant hiring and coordination
- Bid, award, and contract negotiation/administration
- Ensure projects meet lease commitments, budgets, and schedules
- Track and deliver multiple tenant improvement projects on time
- Support capital improvement projects as needed
- Assist with projects outside the primary region when required
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in construction, engineering, or architecture (preferred)
- 2+ years hands-on experience working with a contractor, architect, or owner’s representative
- Experience with entitlement processes, estimating, scheduling, contract administration and management, and on-site construction supervision
- Ability to read architectural and civil/site plans
- Experience with bid review and qualification processes
- Excellent communication and computer skills
- Retail commercial construction experience preferred
