About the role

  • Assist in managing construction projects, including redevelopment, tenant improvements, and new builds, covering:
  • Project planning and estimating
  • Lease exhibit preparation and abstracting
  • Plan and entitlement reviews including zoning research
  • Consultant hiring and coordination
  • Bid, award, and contract negotiation/administration
  • Ensure projects meet lease commitments, budgets, and schedules
  • Track and deliver multiple tenant improvement projects on time
  • Support capital improvement projects as needed
  • Assist with projects outside the primary region when required

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in construction, engineering, or architecture (preferred)
  • 2+ years hands-on experience working with a contractor, architect, or owner’s representative
  • Experience with entitlement processes, estimating, scheduling, contract administration and management, and on-site construction supervision
  • Ability to read architectural and civil/site plans
  • Experience with bid review and qualification processes
  • Excellent communication and computer skills
  • Retail commercial construction experience preferred
