Responsibilities
Lead and manage projects from inception to completion, ensuring all deliverables meet quality standards, deadlines, and budget constraints.
Actively manage all project phases: intake, planning, creation, refinement, feedback & approvals, delivery, analysis, reporting, and archival.
Develop comprehensive project briefs that clearly outline objectives, timelines, and deliverables, setting the stage for successful project execution.
Assign tasks and manage project workflows, ensuring that all team members understand their roles and responsibilities.
Proactively identify potential risks and establish backup plans, ensuring projects stay on track (“hope for the best; plan for the worst”).
Track and monitor tasks to ensure that projects stay on track, making adjustments as needed to meet deadlines.
Think ahead: stay 2-3 steps ahead in the creative process by continuously reaching out to stakeholders, producers, partners, and vendors.
Ensure quality assurance by confirming that projects meet marketing requirements, adhere to brand guidelines and achieve the desired objectives.
Establish standardized project management practices, such as SLAs, creative briefs, and SOPs, to improve project efficiency and clarity.
Prepare and deliver weekly proactive status reports to management and stakeholders, highlighting team output, accomplishments, and relevant metrics.
Manage production and team budgets, as well as organize and oversee social content productions.
Coordinate team briefings, project kickoffs, internal reviews, and other meetings as needed to keep all stakeholders aligned.
Collaborate with cross-functional marketing partners on quarterly project planning, ensuring technical feasibility and resourcing availability.
Oversee and manage project management tools, making sure they’re set up and used as efficiently as possible.
Requirements
4+ years of experience working on creative projects in a marketing environment, ideally within an in-house context and for a B2B SaaS company.
Experience in marketing is a MUST.
Proven ability to develop and manage comprehensive project briefs, workflows, and formal intake processes.
Proficient in the nuances of creative projects: scoping, planning, resourcing, day-to-day project management, timeline creation, and defining and reducing risks.
Strong organizational skills, with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
Exceptional communication skills, with experience in stakeholder management and the ability to articulate complex project processes and creative needs.
Experience in process improvement, with a track record of building and refining project management processes for better efficiency.
Proficiency with project management tools, such as Asana.
Leadership qualities, with the ability to motivate and guide teams to deliver high-quality work on time.
Experience measuring results and aligning them to marketing KPIs, with rigorous reporting on project health and team performance.
Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with a pragmatic but flexible approach to managing creative projects.
