About the role

  • Support Government acquisitions of commercial derivative aircraft and execution of contracts for the Tankers team
  • Exercise appropriate signature authority in negotiating and contracting for the sale and support of aerospace products, services, technologies, financing and the licensing of intellectual property
  • Support presentation of business solutions to preserve and expand the business
  • Represent the company and support external negotiations with a diverse set of customers
  • Prepare, negotiate, execute, interpret and administer legally binding contractual agreements for The Boeing Company
  • Coordinate with other internal functional disciplines
  • Summarize contractual issues, support development of creative solutions and coordinate contractual risk mitigation
  • Collaborate with Tanker Production and Development team members in Everett or Tukwila, WA

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • 1+ years of experience in business related function (including but not limited to: Finance, Contracts, Estimating, Procurement Financial Analysis, Business Operations, Supplier Management, Marketing and Sales)
  • 1+ years of experience building, developing and maintaining customer relationships
  • 1+ years of experience supporting (proposing, negotiating and executing) Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) based acquisitions or commercial subcontracts.
  • Experience with critical thinking, problem solving and analytical skills (preferred)
  • Experience negotiating complex acquisitions (incl. terms and conditions, pricing, schedule, etc.) (preferred)
  • Experience building strong customer partnerships (preferred)
  • Export control compliance: must be a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 (U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee)
