About the role

  • Represent creditors in Chapter 7, 11, and 13 bankruptcy proceedings
  • Manage a high-volume caseload independently
  • Draft legal pleadings, motions, and correspondence
  • Attend hearings (virtually or in person) and communicate with courts as needed
  • Maintain effective and timely communication with clients and team members
  • Work collaboratively with paralegals, legal support staff, and other attorneys

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
  • License to practice law in North Carolina required
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and legal writing skills
  • Ability to handle a large caseload in a fast-paced legal environment
  • Previous bankruptcy or foreclosure experience a plus, but not required
