Responsibilities
- Create, update, and implement compliance policies and procedures aligned with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

- Perform risk evaluations and recommend corrective actions to minimize compliance exposure.
- Investigate and resolve compliance-related issues promptly and effectively.
- Develop and deliver compliance training programs for employees to promote awareness and understanding of regulations.
- Stay informed on new laws, regulations, and industry’s best practices; communicate changes to relevant stakeholders.
- Prepare and present compliance reports to senior management, highlighting key findings and recommendations.
- Ensure compliance with import regulations and oversee compliance with customs regulations, tariff classifications (HTS codes), valuation, and country-of-origin requirements for imported goods and maintain accurate and complete documentation.
- Lead minor compliance-related projects and contribute to strategic initiatives for regulatory readiness.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Law, or related field preferred
- 2+ years of people leadership experience
- 4+ years of experience in compliance, auditing, or regulatory affairs, preferably in pharmaceuticals
- Pharmaceutical distribution or wholesale experience highly preferred
- Strong knowledge of applicable laws and regulations, including trade compliance requirements
- Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
