About the role

  • Execute business and customer development in assigned territory
  • Manage and develop different distribution channels (OES and IAM); set targets, track results, ensure targets are achieved
  • Expand business geographically through acquisition of new customers
  • Assure day-to-day account operations (oversee A/R, ensure parts availability); act as liaison between customer and Dana
  • Establish strategic plans to maximize sales and profitability and execute according to Dana and customer expectations
  • Collect market data and assist analysis to define short term actions or strategic plans (pricing, nongenuine parts competition)
  • Track market conditions and define actions to align company strategy
  • Analyze competition proposals and define counter actions
  • Support Product Management to define and optimize product portfolio for organic growth and innovation
  • Define budget (AOP and LRP) and continuously track performance and profitability
  • Negotiate with customers on pricing and support for quality, delivery, and timing
  • Build relationships with customers across levels, departments, and locations
  • Maintain knowledge of competitor activity and significant changes
  • Reporting: Forecasting, New Business Pipeline, Customer Visits, and Monthly Sales Reports

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in sales and knowledge of the Automotive Aftermarket and/or OE business
  • Fluent in business and technical English
  • Advance: Russian or Turkish language knowledge
  • Readiness to travel frequently, mainly in EMEA (Europe+Middle East+Central Asia), visiting customers (25-30%)
