About the role
- Service and market assigned Commercial Lines insurance accounts with a focus on the healthcare industry, with or without a designated Producer.
- Evaluate and recommend appropriate insurance coverage and limits to clients and prepare client proposals based on needs, rates and coverages.
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients to ensure that all service needs are met.
- Contribute to departmental production growth by assisting Producers with new business as requested and account rounding/development.
- Gather information from clients and prepare submissions to insurance carriers or quote online for new and/or renewal coverage.
- Work with Assistant Account Managers and other team members to effectively delegate and manage work.
- Utilize HUB’s Broker Management System (BMS - EPIC) to manage client account data and follow established office protocols and document management.
- Stay informed of industry changes and trends and participate in additional trainings as needed.
- Conduct business demonstrating understanding of business and earnings implications for the Company.
Requirements
- Experience and knowledge of Commercial Lines coverage and markets, including Workers Compensation, Property, Commercial Auto and General Liability.
- Experience with healthcare accounts.
- Medical Malpractice and other Professional Liability insurance coverage a plus.
- Property & Casualty Producer’s license.
- Experience with Microsoft Office products including Excel, PowerPoint, Word.
- Experience with remote meeting platforms such as Teams and Zoom.
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
- Department Account Management & Service Required Experience: 5-7 years of relevant experience.
- Required Travel: Negligible.
- Required Education: High school or equivalent.
