About the role

  • Pricing Analyst developing sophisticated pricing models and supporting growth at Zurich. Collaborating with underwriters and contributing to a high-performing Commercial Pricing team.

Responsibilities

  • You will play a key role within our Commercial Lines Pricing team, focusing mainly on Casualty Lines, with exposure to other business lines through case pricing projects
  • Collaborate closely with underwriters to define, analyse, and implement strategies that enhance and grow our portfolios
  • Support the creation and maintenance of sophisticated pricing models, deliver insightful analyses, and help drive business decisions
  • Deliver bespoke actuarial technical pricing and performance analysis across P&C, Motor, Energy, and Specialties lines
  • Constantly challenge yourself by exploring new technologies and apply them in your work environment
  • Contribute to a supportive, inclusive team environment where your growth matters
  • Build strong, trust-based relationships with colleagues in underwriting, reserving, finance, and claims, sharing insights and promoting a data-driven culture
  • Support the technical and professional development of junior team members and potentially move into line management in the future
  • Seek new ways to enhance our processes and drive efficiencies for our team and our underwriters

Requirements

  • Degree qualified, ideally with experience in General Insurance
  • Strong technical and analytical skills in actuarial pricing, data science, or statistical modelling
  • Technical pricing experience is beneficial but not mandatory
  • Clear and effective communicator, able to explain complex ideas to a wide audience
  • A proactive mindset and a collaborative approach to problem-solving
  • Proficiency in analytical tools (such as Excel, SQL, R, Python, Power BI, VBA)
