Responsibilities
- Coordinates with business owners to gather requirements through interviews and sessions for projects and enhancements
- Analyzes requirements to assess systems’ potential and impacts on other units
- Creates process models to evaluate the completeness of information and processes
- Provides cost/benefit analysis, risk assessments, and scope definitions for proposed requirements
- Guides users in building business cases and performs impact analysis
- Supports testing, implementation, and training
- Leads project tasks affecting multiple business and IT departments
- Evaluates project impacts through consultations with various teams
- Supports system configuration and integration testing to ensure requirements are met
- Manages work plans, timelines, and budgets, prioritizing projects based on feedback and ROI
- Performs business process modeling and re-engineering to ensure completeness
- Utilizes UML tools to create Use Cases, Class, and Sequence Diagrams
- Mentors team members in technology and application delivery
- Collaborates with stakeholders to analyze requirements for Guidewire enhancements
- Translates business requirements into technical specifications and design documents
- Configures, customizes, and tests Guidewire applications to align with business needs
- Provides support during system implementations and upgrades
- Participates in integration testing, user acceptance testing, and deployment
- Troubleshoots issues related to Guidewire applications and stays updated on industry trends
Requirements
- Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, or Computer Science or Engineering and 5 or more years of experience in the Information Technology area OR
- High School Diploma or Equivalent and 7 or more years of experience in the Information Technology area
- Process reengineering, e.g. LEAN / Six Sigma, Continuous improvement methodologies
- Process modeling tools
