About the role
- Head of Supply Chain managing Supply Chain & Business Process for Advanced Industrial Intermediates at LANXESS. Leading staff, optimizing SAP processes, and tracking KPIs in Pittsburgh.
Responsibilities
- Build, develop, track and define goals and strategies related to Supply Chain & Customer Service
- Manage the Advanced Industrial Intermediates (AII) Supply Chain personnel and functions including customer service, pricing, exports and inventory planning
- Responsible for adequate staffing and ensure proper training for supply chain personnel
- Optimize the utilization of existing SAP and other workflows throughout the AII supply chain organization
- Actively represent AII in all Supply Chain Excellence related initiatives and activities
- Develop, track and present KPIs to measure supply chain performance and customer satisfaction
- Create useful dashboards and build relationships with relevant Supply Chain partners
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Supply Chain or a related field
- MBA preferred
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in Supply Chain Leadership, Transportation and Warehousing
- Previous experience in a supervisory capacity is required
- Strong proficiency in SAP (SD module and order-to-cash processes)
- Must have excellent negotiation skills
- Previous project management experience with exceptional analytical thinking skills
