Responsibilities
- Leads the development and compliance of policies and procedures for the business
- Understands the business needs and consults with business leaders in planning projects
- Provides complex analysis and decision support to deliver on key business priorities
- Collaborates with multiple disciplines to gather information and make recommendations
- Responsible for defining process performance measures and advises operational reporting group
- Develops and leads process-related training programs
- Evaluates alternatives and external training
- Responsible for building and maintaining centralized processing documentation
- Acts as business project manager for large process improvement projects
- Prepares operations, finance and statistical reports using relevant internal and external data
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related discipline or equivalent
- Typically a minimum of seven years of related work experience
- Knowledge of the insurance industry
- Excellent analytical, organizational and planning skills
- Proven business process modeling and analysis skills
- Proficiency to facilitate meetings of high complexity
- In-depth knowledge of project management principles
- Expert knowledge of change management principles and methods
- Strong communication, interpersonal and presentation skills both verbal and written
- Ability to work on multiple projects concurrently with little or no direction
