About the role

  • Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist responsible for full-cycle recruitment and talent strategy at Seaspan Shipyards. Focusing on production and operational roles while building employer branding.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the entire recruitment cycle for the assigned portfolio
  • Conduct thorough screening to confirm candidates’ competencies
  • Collaborate with Hiring Managers and HR Business Partners
  • Develop effective sourcing strategies
  • Keep detailed records and provide reviews to Hiring Managers
  • Partner with HR team to ensure compliance

Requirements

  • 6+ years full-cycle in-house or a mix of in-house and agency recruiting experience for mid-to-senior level roles
  • Strong knowledge of recruitment processes and best practices
  • Demonstrated experience in strategic sourcing
  • Strong experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Good judgment, problem-solving, and reasoning skills
  • Strong computer skills including MS Outlook/Word/Excel/PowerPoint
