About the role

  • Technical Sales role focusing on OE sales to Japanese truck and bus OEMs. Building customer relationships and driving sales growth in the manufacturing industry.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in strategic planning to identify long-term business targets and growth opportunities
  • Contribute to the annual operating plan and support preparation of the business activity budget
  • Build and maintain a strong network within the customer organization to capture the Voice of Customer
  • Identify new business opportunities and RFQ potential through proactive customer engagement
  • Analyze market dynamics and collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop competitive proposals
  • Maintain strong relationships with OEM purchasing departments and other key stakeholders
  • Work with Product Lines to secure and maintain profitability throughout the product lifecycle
  • Support series production activities and maintain accurate monthly forecasts to monitor sales fluctuations

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or a related field
  • Experience in the manufacturing industry such as automotive, machinery, or electronics
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to handle commercial and contractual topics
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for customer relationship management
  • Strong analytical thinking and negotiation capabilities
  • Fluency in Japanese and English, both written and spoken
  • Proficiency in SAP and MS Office tools, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Preferred: experience working with truck and bus OEM customers
