Technical Sales role focusing on OE sales to Japanese truck and bus OEMs. Building customer relationships and driving sales growth in the manufacturing industry.
Responsibilities
Participate in strategic planning to identify long-term business targets and growth opportunities
Contribute to the annual operating plan and support preparation of the business activity budget
Build and maintain a strong network within the customer organization to capture the Voice of Customer
Identify new business opportunities and RFQ potential through proactive customer engagement
Analyze market dynamics and collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop competitive proposals
Maintain strong relationships with OEM purchasing departments and other key stakeholders
Work with Product Lines to secure and maintain profitability throughout the product lifecycle
Support series production activities and maintain accurate monthly forecasts to monitor sales fluctuations
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or a related field
Experience in the manufacturing industry such as automotive, machinery, or electronics
Strong business acumen with the ability to handle commercial and contractual topics
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for customer relationship management
Strong analytical thinking and negotiation capabilities
Fluency in Japanese and English, both written and spoken
Proficiency in SAP and MS Office tools, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
Preferred: experience working with truck and bus OEM customers
