About the role

  • Servicetechniker responsible for installing and maintaining medical diagnostic and therapeutic devices at client locations in Germany. Focused on customer training, technical support, and documentation.

Responsibilities

  • Installation and commissioning of ZEISS ophthalmic diagnostic and therapeutic devices at customer sites
  • Performing regular maintenance as well as diagnosing and resolving technical issues on our devices
  • Training and supporting customers in the operation and maintenance of the devices
  • Advising customers on technical questions and supporting our sales and applications staff
  • Preparing detailed reports of work performed, including documentation of technical issues and their resolutions

Requirements

  • Completed technical training and/or degree, ideally in mechatronics, electronics, or a comparable field
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in technical field service within medical technology
  • Solid knowledge of electrical engineering and mechanics, and experience working with complex technical equipment
  • Strong IT skills: MS Office and CRM system experience as well as Windows, networking, and administrator-level knowledge are required
  • Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with customers and colleagues
  • Ability to quickly analyze technical problems and develop efficient solutions
  • High level of self-initiative and the ability to work independently and in an organized manner
  • Fluent German (spoken and written); good English skills
  • Valid driving license (Class B)
