Responsibilities
Installation and commissioning of ZEISS ophthalmic diagnostic and therapeutic devices at customer sites
Performing regular maintenance as well as diagnosing and resolving technical issues on our devices
Training and supporting customers in the operation and maintenance of the devices
Advising customers on technical questions and supporting our sales and applications staff
Preparing detailed reports of work performed, including documentation of technical issues and their resolutions
Requirements
Completed technical training and/or degree, ideally in mechatronics, electronics, or a comparable field
Minimum 3 years of experience in technical field service within medical technology
Solid knowledge of electrical engineering and mechanics, and experience working with complex technical equipment
Strong IT skills: MS Office and CRM system experience as well as Windows, networking, and administrator-level knowledge are required
Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with customers and colleagues
Ability to quickly analyze technical problems and develop efficient solutions
High level of self-initiative and the ability to work independently and in an organized manner
Fluent German (spoken and written); good English skills
Valid driving license (Class B)
