Responsibilities
- Lead a diverse team and manage 4-wall swim school operations
- Increase sales through enrollment while ensuring profitability
- Oversee expanding aquatics programs and ensure a safe, clean environment
- Deliver a world-class customer experience and engage the local community
- Promote a safety culture by executing quality assurance and brand standards
- Use financial data to build strategies for revenue and profitability
- Manage recruitment, onboarding, and training of staff
- Deliver ongoing coaching, feedback, and support for employee growth
- Develop and implement local marketing strategies to promote the school's programs
Requirements
- 3-5 years of management experience leading large teams (30+ employees)
- High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in recreation, sports management, business administration, or a related field is preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment while being agile and taking initiative
- Strong critical thinking skills and proactive approach to problem-solving
- Must be able to lift 30 lbs. and be on your feet for long periods
- CPR, First Aid, and AED certifications are required within 90 days of hire (training provided)
- Lifeguard and Certified Pool Operator certifications preferred
- Aquatics management or swim instruction experience is a plus
