About the role

  • Lead Organizational Development initiatives at Xero to empower small businesses. Focus on talent and succession management strategies and leadership capability enhancement.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design of the talent and succession management strategy and approach for XLT and Board
  • Oversee cyclical activity for talent management practices for Remuneration Committee
  • Ensure the design and implementation of Xero’s full leadership strategy with a view to deepening leadership capability
  • Oversee the design of the talent and succession management strategy and approach for XLT and Board
  • Partner with executive leadership, PX Business Partners and Employee Experience team to drive a culture of high performance
  • Provide leadership and coaching to the team and effectively manage anticipated demand and capacity within the team

Requirements

  • Experience in designing and implementing talent management, leadership, learning strategies and initiatives globally, at scale.
  • Experience working within a fast paced, growing global industry.
  • Experience working in or with complex matrixed global organisations, including Board engagement.
  • Experience leading a large scale cultural or learning & development intervention.
  • Proven track record in the execution of strategic and operational OD and change, with the ability to move between strategy and execution.
  • Experience in advocating for a change or movement and influencing senior stakeholders.
  • Experience leading global teams.
  • Experience in leadership coaching, desired.
  • Willingness to travel.
