Responsibilities
Own and lead World Vision New Zealand’s social media strategy and execution
Lead social media strategy and performance across World Vision New Zealand Masterbrand and the World Vision 40 Hour Challenge
Own content planning and ideation, ensuring alignment with brand and audience objectives
Brief and collaborate with Marketing Production and agency partners to deliver high-quality social assets
Create and publish content directly, particularly for reactive, time-sensitive opportunities
Build and manage engaged social communities, enhancing user-generated and influencer content
Protect and strengthen World Vision’s reputation on social media, managing risk and supporting rapid response communications
Requirements
3–5 years’ experience leading social media strategy and execution
Proven success managing branded social channels and driving measurable engagement
Strong storytelling skills, including short-form video and platform-native content
Experience using analytics, content management, and social advertising tools
Experience in content creation tools such as Capcut and Canva
High attention to detail and a strong instinct for brand voice and tone
Confidence working cross-functionally and influencing outcomes
An interest in mission-driven work and using social media for good
