Responsibilities
Manage and coordinate all aspects of assigned programs
Provide oversight to Program Directors and faculty to ensure students reach all milestones in a timely manner
Understand, interpret and articulate the policies and guidelines of the Programs, DBBS, and the University
Serve as a representative and advisor for graduate students
Manage student progress through all phases of graduate school - recruitment, admissions, advising, lab rotations, thesis lab, qualifying exam, thesis committee, thesis defense and graduation
Identify when to notify relevant personnel (Program Director, Associate Dean, Student Health or Office of Graduate Studies) about performance or personal issues and steps to resolve the issue
Manage all program activities, including recruitment visits, entering class orientation, overnight retreats and special events; responsible for financial contracts for retreats and events
Ensure FERPA guidelines are adhered to and protect the integrity and confidentiality of student’s official University record
Manage all student milestones and information in the DBBS database and electronic files
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent high school certification or combination of education and/or experience
3 years of administrative experience
