About the role
- Wundmanager providing professional care for chronic wounds in a specialized healthcare service. Ensuring optimal patient care and collaboration with other healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities
- Professional treatment of chronic and/or hard-to-heal wounds
- Digital wound documentation
- Advising, supporting and educating patients and their relatives
- Close collaboration with other professionals involved in wound care to ensure optimal patient treatment
- Ensuring prescription and supply management
- Managing and expanding the existing client base
- Compliance with legal regulations and guidelines
Requirements
- State-recognized qualification as a registered nurse, pediatric nurse, geriatric nurse, or nursing specialist
- Professional experience in wound care is an advantage but not mandatory
- Completed further training as a wound care specialist or willingness to undertake such training
- Strong communication skills and a good understanding of patients' needs
- Reliable and responsible work approach
- Driver’s license category B (or equivalent)
