About the role

  • VP, Group Account Director leading account managers at Woven Health Collective. Overseeing client relationships, strategic results, and operational health for healthcare marketing solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage teams of account managers and subordinate supervisors, including direct oversight of workload allocation, account assignments, and performance management
  • Establish and review regular schedules for client check-ins, team deliverables, and ensure quality of service across all accounts
  • Develop policies and best practices for addressing client issues, upselling/cross-selling, and maximizing revenue; set individual and team targets and monitor progress
  • Provide senior leadership for high-profile, complex, or critical accounts, acting as the executive sponsor and solution architect for client engagements
  • Administer departmental policies and procedures, review team performance, and participate in developing and managing budgets, strategic plans, and operational enhancements
  • Analyze team performance, assess account and business health, and communicate critical business issues and forecasts to senior leadership
  • Oversee all personnel decisions in assigned group, including hiring, mentoring, retention, and career development for direct reports and indirect teams
  • Champion new business development, lead client pitches, and support organization-wide efforts for growth and client acquisition
  • Evaluate trends, client feedback, and competitive landscape to refine account management strategies and optimize team outcomes
  • Foster a strong team culture, drive unity and morale, and promote best practices and innovation throughout the organization

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in business, marketing, communications, or related field required; advanced degree preferred
  • Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in account management, including substantial prior management and personnel responsibility
  • In-depth understanding of the fields concepts, principles, and integrated solution delivery
  • Teamwork and proven ability to foster collaboration and unity
  • Strong leadership, management, and decision-making skills with full authority for personnel actions
  • Advanced oral and written communication skills for internal and external stakeholders
  • Customer/client orientation and advanced relationship-building abilities
  • Business problem/situation analysis and strategic vision
  • Project management and financial acumen for budget and performance oversight
