Instrument Maintenance Support Engineer required for the Dana Contract. Hybrid role with 3 days in office at Aberdeen.
Responsibilities
Provide onshore support to the Offshore Operations team to facilitate effective maintenance and repair activities in matters relating to Controls and Instruments.
Offshore/onshore focal point for performance monitoring and troubleshooting of Controls and Instruments systems.
Identify and provide cost effective engineering solutions to platform operations and maintenance problems.
Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, improve reliability, and reduce operating costs.
Requirements
Qualified with a degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent (or equivalent experience)
Good working knowledge of ICSS type control system equipment (Honeywell , Rockwell, Yokogawa, ABB, Siemens)
Knowledge and experience gained in the management of ICSS control system healthcare contractual agreements
Good working knowledge of the use and application of safety risk assessments
Good working knowledge of field instrumentation (i.e calibration and instrument selection to specific application)
Considerable experience of the oil and gas industry, predominantly gained in an engineering and production operations environment.
Good working knowledge and application of relevant UK oil and gas industry regulations and Standards (eg IEC61511, Cap437 EEMUA191)
Familiar with quality processes and the application of continuous improvement tools
Experience in the use of MAXIMO maintenance management system
