Responsibilities
Providing professional telephone and email support to an established customer base, ensuring queries are addressed effectively and in a timely manner
Maintaining, enhancing and refining existing .NET / C# applications in line with evolving business requirements
Taking ownership of the monthly billing process, ensuring accurate and on‑time delivery of customer invoices
Performing system administration tasks including user access management, housekeeping and end‑user training
Validating and reconciling data across multiple platforms and data sources
Designing, producing and rebranding standard and bespoke customer reports using SQL data sources
Identifying, investigating and resolving data anomalies, presenting findings clearly to stakeholders
Supporting process improvements and operational efficiencies
Contributing to innovation projects and new system developments
Requirements
Significant commercial experience in application development using Visual Studio, .NET / C# and SQL databases
Strong data management and analysis skills, with experience working with large data sets
Proven ability to create meaningful management information and customer reports
Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel, including advanced formulas and VBA scripting
A methodical approach to problem‑solving and investigation
Strong communication skills and a customer‑focused mindset
An understanding of IT networking concepts (nice to have)
Experience working within the energy or utilities sector (nice to have)
