About the role

  • Sales representative managing the existing customer base and new client acquisitions in the automotive paint sector. Conducting market observations and optimizing sales processes in Germany.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and advise an existing regional customer base and acquire new customers
  • Introduce, present and sell new products and process innovations in the paints/coatings area
  • Independently plan and conduct customer appointments and on-site visits
  • Conduct market monitoring and competitor analyses
  • Optimize and further develop existing sales processes
  • Responsible for sales and profitability
  • Participate in WM workshop trade shows

Requirements

  • Completed technical or commercial training, preferably in the paints/coatings industry
  • Field sales experience in the automotive sector is an advantage
  • Understanding of market and customer needs
  • Strong communication skills and a customer-oriented approach with a consistently friendly and professional manner
  • Persuasiveness and negotiation skills
  • Good written and spoken German
  • Proficient in MS Office applications
  • Class B driving licence (formerly Class 3)
