About the role

  • Project Manager leading I&C modernization projects for nuclear power plants. Collaborating with teams to ensure project success while focusing on safety and quality.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure safety and quality are the primary focus on all project activities
  • Support sales and solutions functions in offer development to enable successful project execution
  • Plan, monitor, and control all aspects of the project (scope, schedule, cost, risk, procurement, quality, resources, etc.)
  • Build relationships and interface with internal (cross-functional teams) and external (customers) stakeholders to clearly communicate project status and execute project work
  • Lead cross-functional teams in a matrixed organization to deliver high-complexity nuclear I&C solutions
  • Deliver projects in accordance with Westinghouse project management requirements
  • Identify (and drive) areas for improvement on projects or processes
  • Remove barriers for projects teams to drive issue resolution and enable success

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or Project Management
  • MBA or Advanced Degree is a plus
  • 2+ years of experience preferred
  • PMI Project Management Professional (PMP®) certification or the willingness to achieve
  • Willingness to learn project management tools (SAP, Primavera (P6), Microsoft Project, Microsoft SharePoint, and Active Risk Manager)
