About the role

  • Bilingual PR Account Manager leading earned media strategies for high-profile accounts in sports, focusing on golf in Europe and the UK. Seeking a strategic thinker and confident communicator.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders.
  • Build trusted relationships and ensure strategic alignment across all deliverables.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Partnerships, Content, Events) for integrated campaign delivery.
  • Create and maintain messaging frameworks and a year-long communications schedule.
  • Set and track KPIs for earned media activities, ensuring alignment with client objectives.
  • Manage ongoing media relations, including press release creation, distribution, and proactive pitching.
  • Develop rapid-response protocols and a crisis communications playbook.
  • Produce high-quality press kits (English & Spanish), thought leadership pieces, speeches, and website updates.
  • Oversee media centre operations at golf tournaments and destination events.
  • Monitor media coverage, sentiment, and share of voice using tools like Meltwater or Cision.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years in PR, communications, or media relations, ideally within sports, entertainment, or innovation sectors.
  • Proven experience managing bilingual campaigns and working with Spanish media.
  • Native-level Spanish and fluent English communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Strong editorial copywriting and storytelling abilities.
  • Strategic mindset with creative problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organisational and project management capabilities.
  • Confident working across multiple accounts and deadlines.
  • Familiarity with PR tools (e.g. Meltwater, Cision).
  • Understanding of digital and social media trends.
  • Established relationships with leading European journalists in business, sport, and travel
  • Familiarity with KPIs and PR reporting tools
  • Experience integrating PR with wider Paid, Owned and Creative functions
