About the role

  • Project Manager for veterinary clinical studies and product development at WDT. Leading market analysis, project management, and regulatory compliance tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct systematic market, customer and competitor analyses for existing and new products in the veterinary field
  • Identify market trends, opportunities and risks and derive strategic recommendations for portfolio development and product strategy
  • Independently plan, manage and monitor complex projects across the entire product lifecycle
  • Prepare and moderate project meetings, decision documents and status reports in German and English
  • Plan, coordinate and oversee veterinary preclinical and clinical studies in accordance with regulatory requirements
  • Select, manage and oversee external partners (e.g., veterinary clinics, CROs, laboratories)
  • Create and maintain study protocols, study reports, timelines, budget calculations and risk analyses
  • Monitor study progress and ensure data quality, compliance and complete documentation
  • Support the preparation and compilation of regulatory submission documents
  • Contribute to the preparation of regulatory dossiers (e.g., EMA, national authorities)
  • Ensure that studies and product data meet regulatory requirements
  • Participate in innovative veterinary projects with high societal and scientific impact

Requirements

  • Degree in veterinary medicine, pharmacy, biosciences, biotechnology or an equivalent qualification
  • Practical experience in planning and conducting preclinical and clinical studies, ideally in the veterinary field
  • Experience in project management, preferably in product development
  • Ideally, experience in market analysis and preparing product information
  • Knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements (e.g., AMG, TAMG, GCP, GLP, GMP, VICH, ICH)
  • Excellent German and English skills and confident use of MS Office
  • Confident interaction with international project partners from academia and industry
  • Analytical thinking, structured and reliable working style
  • Strong communication skills and pronounced team and coordination abilities
