About the role

  • IT Support Engineer providing support for medical practices with a focus on IT infrastructure. Troubleshooting IT systems and collaborating with teams for effective solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Technical support for medical practices at 1st & 2nd level (telephone / remote)
  • Troubleshooting and resolving issues with IT systems and practice software (especially T2med)
  • Installation and maintenance of hardware, networks and medical devices
  • Support in implementing IT security concepts and data protection policies
  • Documentation in the ticketing system and close cooperation with the technical field service
  • Occasional minor on-site field service assignments at customer locations

Requirements

  • Completed vocational training in IT (e.g., IT Specialist – System Integration) or comparable qualification
  • Experience in technical support, ideally in a medical environment
  • Solid knowledge of Windows domains (Active Directory), network technology (VLAN, firewall, port forwarding) and IT security
  • Experience with macOS, Linux and virtualization (Hyper-V, Proxmox) is an advantage
  • Strong technical understanding and experience documenting in a ticketing system
  • Excellent communication skills, highly customer-oriented and very team-focused
  • Organizational skills and an independent, goal-oriented way of working
  • Valid Class B driving licence
  • Good German language skills, both written and spoken
