About the role

  • HR-Generalist collaborating with leadership on personnel issues and overseeing payroll processes. Supports recruitment efforts and HR projects with a focus on operational excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Advise and support managers and employees on HR-related and employment law matters
  • Draft, review and amend employment contracts, addenda and other employment law documents
  • Prepare payroll and coordinate with the payroll service provider
  • Coordinate applicant management, including conducting interviews
  • Support individual personnel measures (e.g., warnings, terminations, transfers)
  • Support implementation of HR projects
  • Identify optimization potential in existing HR processes and implement improvements together with the team

Requirements

  • Commercial vocational training (e.g., office clerk, HR clerk, tax clerk) or equivalent qualification with additional certification, e.g., payroll clerk
  • More than three years' professional experience in HR administration/employee support
  • Good knowledge of employment law and, where applicable, experience with collective bargaining agreements (GuA NRW)
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office and a strong affinity for HR software (Sage HR Suite / ATOSS time tracking system)
  • Proven ability to work independently, strong organizational skills, creativity and a high sense of responsibility for one’s area of duties
