About the role

  • FM / M&E engineer driving new business opportunities using technical expertise at Voltix Services. Building client relationships and shaping commercial conversations without losing engineering credibility.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively generate new business opportunities, including outbound calling and outreach
  • Open doors with FM clients using your technical understanding, not sales scripts
  • Build trusted, long-term relationships with decision-makers
  • Understand site requirements, risks and client challenges
  • Scope maintenance, reactive and small works solutions
  • Support pricing, proposals and tender responses
  • Act as the technical bridge between clients and delivery teams
  • Cold calling is part of the role — but this is consultative, problem-solving sales, not pushy selling

Requirements

  • Come from an FM, M&E, Electrical or Mechanical engineering background
  • Understand planned and reactive maintenance environments
  • Are confident speaking with clients and senior stakeholders
  • Are comfortable picking up the phone and starting conversations
  • Want a long-term commercial career with progression beyond site work
