About the role

• Consultant managing AI governance to optimize costs and enhance financial efficiency for Vivo. Collaborating with engineering and business teams to drive financial control in AI initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze costs associated with AI initiatives (e.g., cloud consumption, model usage, tokens, inference)
• Access and explore cloud provider tools for detailed tracking of consumption and costs
• Create cost models for AI solutions, considering variables such as volume, usage, and scale
• Support sizing of solutions, proposing cost- and performance-efficient alternatives
• Define and recommend guidelines, best practices, and technical requirements for cost optimization to delivery and platform teams
• Track the individual cost of AI projects and initiatives
• Identify deviations from expected costs and propose corrective action plans
• Work with responsible teams to implement and follow up on optimization actions
• Create and evolve governance and cost-visibility mechanisms (dashboards, reports, metrics)
• Support the development of forecasts and financial planning for initiatives

Requirements

• Experience managing cloud costs (FinOps, Cloud Cost Management, or similar)
• Familiarity with cloud cost monitoring tools (AWS, GCP, Azure)
• Experience in data analysis and building cost models
• Ability to understand and discuss technical decisions with financial impact
• Experience defining KPIs and tracking financial performance
• Ability to work with multiple stakeholders (engineering, product, business, platform)
• Analytical, structured, and efficiency-oriented profile
• Experience with costs related to generative AI (e.g., tokens, inference, use of model APIs)
• Knowledge of AI solution architectures and their cost implications
• Previous experience with large-scale cost optimization initiatives
• Familiarity with AI governance practices
• Experience creating dashboards and cost-visibility tools
• Certifications or education related to cloud or FinOps
