Responsibilities
Professional and disciplinary leadership of the payroll team (currently 5 people)
Point of contact and technical support for your team on complex social security and tax law issues
Ensure timely and accurate monthly payroll processing
Responsible for compliance with statutory, collective bargaining and company regulations in payroll tax, employment and social security law, and for supporting related audits
Handling special topics such as short-time work (Kurzarbeit), company pension schemes or intra-group reporting
Point of contact for IT to implement new requirements
Close collaboration with HR management, to whom you report both functionally and disciplinarily
Further development and optimization of internal payroll processes
Requirements
Completed commercial vocational training or degree, ideally with further training in HR or accounting
Several years of experience in payroll processing with initial leadership experience
Very good knowledge of payroll tax, employment and social security law
Solid experience with payroll processing in SAP HCM
Conscientious, responsible and enjoys working in a team
Strong communication skills and a structured way of working
