About the role

  • Sales Manager handling industrial water quality responsibilities in Germany. Leading a team and achieving new business targets while ensuring water quality.

Responsibilities

  • Technical and disciplinary leadership and development of assigned staff (6 field sales employees)
  • Planning, achieving and exceeding established sales targets
  • New customer acquisition, development of strategic new business and retention of existing customer relationships
  • Upselling and expansion of existing business with software and system solutions
  • Defining and monitoring KPIs to drive target achievement and ensure work quality
  • Ensuring a positive, challenging work environment that recognizes strong performance and addresses areas for improvement

Requirements

  • Strong, progressive sales experience and industry knowledge in the water sector
  • Process-oriented approach with a proven track record of profitable growth
  • Strategic ability to analyze markets and competitors and to develop and implement successful sales strategies with the team
  • Willingness to travel up to 50%
  • Very good English skills and fluent German
