About the role

  • Strategic Account Manager responsible for sales and profitability levels for portfolio at Veepee. Collaborating with teams to deliver strategic business plans for key accounts in the Home sector.

Responsibilities

  • Assigned to the Home Business Unit with an international remit, you are responsible for achieving sales and profitability targets for your account portfolio across all Veepee markets (international).
  • You will develop, sell and implement business plans with brands or groups identified as strategic for all the Group's products and services, based on a precise understanding of their needs and ecosystems.
  • You will build and maintain strong internal relationships with all relevant teams to ensure the best commercial solutions and operational excellence for strategic accounts.
  • Act as an ambassador for the Group's value proposition and products (flash sales, marketplace, etc.) and position Veepee as a strategic partner for brands.
  • Supported by a Sales Analyst & Support: mentor and guide the day-to-day professional development of a Sales Assistant, providing consistent coaching, setting clear objectives, and ensuring operational excellence in their support of your portfolio.
  • Design and execute comprehensive multi-year business plans with key partners, leveraging the full Veepee ecosystem — including targeted marketing activations, resale of media solutions (Veepee Ad), and negotiating annual framework agreements.
  • Prepare and sell medium- and long-term strategic plans: account mapping, market and needs analysis, preparing offers, defining the main actions to be implemented, negotiating terms at brand management level, proactively assessing and continuously validating account needs, etc.
  • Implement strategic plans: ensure execution of the plan within the given deadlines in collaboration with all Veepee teams (sales, marketing, production, finance, supply chain).
  • Develop knowledge of brand catalogs to refresh offers and adapt commercial formats.
  • Stay proactive in tracking brand news, sector developments and market trends.
  • Measure performance and prepare reports on key monitoring KPIs, with recommended actions based on results.
  • Maintain a cross-functional Veepee and international view of the account throughout the partnership.
  • Manage customer relationships at the local level (France management) and initiate or pursue contact at European/headquarters level to build a global partnership.
  • Prospect key brands to initiate business on Veepee services (flash sales, marketplace, media, etc.).

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business or marketing and at least 6 years' experience in key account management. Ideally, you have already worked on international projects.
  • Sector-specific knowledge is appreciated (or a strong interest in the sector).
  • You are a highly technical salesperson with excellent prospecting, negotiation and objection-handling skills.
  • You understand financial issues (P&L, depreciation/amortization), can manage a budget and ensure commercial follow-up (KPIs, performance analysis, etc.).
  • You are business-oriented and persistent.
  • You can work effectively with different teams and have excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Strong command of Excel and fluent in English.
